Livestock Cameras
Camera feeds update on a delay and may occasionally be unavailable during maintenance, internet outages, or severe weather conditions.
Pasture Cameras
Keeping an Eye on the Herd
One of the challenges of managing livestock on a rural property is that you can’t be everywhere at once.
While daily pasture checks remain an important part of ranch life, technology allows us to keep an eye on the animals, monitor pasture conditions, and observe wildlife activity throughout the day without constantly disturbing the herd.
To support that goal, Chesed Ranch utilizes several strategically placed pasture cameras located throughout the property.
These cameras provide a delayed view of conditions around the ranch and serve as a window into daily life on the farm.
Why Delayed Video?
The video feeds available on this page are intentionally delayed.
The purpose of these cameras is educational and informational rather than security monitoring. A delayed feed allows visitors to observe activity around the ranch while maintaining privacy and security for the property, our family, and our livestock.
By introducing a delay, we can share life on the ranch without broadcasting real-time information.
What You Might See
Depending on the season and time of day, the cameras may capture:
๐ Our American Aberdeen cattle grazing
๐ด Coco and Daisy moving between pasture and their stalls, or Snowball the Donkey making herself “present for the world”
๐ Goats exploring areas they probably shouldn’t be exploring
๐ฆ White-tailed deer
๐ฆ Wild turkey
๐ฆ Hawks and other birds of prey (hopefully being chased by the crows)
๐ Sunrises and sunsets across the pasture
๐ง Weather events moving through the ranch
๐ณ Seasonal changes throughout the year
As any farmer will tell you, no two days are ever quite the same.

Technology on the Ranch
While farming often evokes images of older traditions and simpler times, modern technology has become an important tool for managing livestock, monitoring weather, and understanding how a property changes throughout the seasons.
Pasture cameras, weather stations, irrigation controllers, and environmental monitoring systems all help us make better decisions while maintaining the stewardship principles that guide Chesed Ranch.
Technology doesn’t replace walking the property.
It simply gives us another way to observe, learn, and appreciate what is happening when we’re not standing there.
Live From Chesed Ranch
The cameras on this page offer a small glimpse into daily life on the ranch.
Some days you’ll see livestock.
Some days you’ll see wildlife.
Some days you’ll see nothing more than a breeze moving through the pasture grass.
That’s farm life.
And honestly, that’s part of the charm.
